CTR Firearms on NBC15

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) — CTR Automotive recently opened a firearms store, selling everything from tasers to a nearly $10,000 Uzi machine gun.

A CTR mechanic, Chris Endres, opened the store along with his wife.

Owner Chris Endres says he decided to take his passion for guns and turn it into a store front.

After obtaining all the necessary permits, the store offers a variety of firearms including suppressors, machine guns and short barreled rifles.

It’s a gun lover’s dream, especially for two owners who were once scared of firearms.

“I was dead against guns. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I was not a gun person at all. The world has just changed so much that now it’s more of a self defense thing and protect your family thing,” said Chris Endres, CTR Firearms co-owner.

Endres says he now carries a gun everywhere he goes. He also takes his six-year-old son to the shooting range, who Endres says aside from himself, is the most proficient shooter in the family.
